Can bevelled glass be cut?

Bevelled edge glass or mirrors can be split or reduced in size, if they haven’t been tempered or laminated. Once cut, you may need to get the raw cut edges bevelled to match the other edges. If not done properly, cutting glass can be hazardous and may result in uneven pieces. 

What does bevelled glass look like?

Bevelled glass has a slanted, angular edge that generally surrounds the edge of a piece of glass or mirror, like a frame. The depth of bevelled edges can be customised. Bevelled edges are generally cut into rectangular or square shaped glass or mirrors, however, there are other shapes such as circles or ovals that you can add a bevelled edge to. 

Is bevelled glass expensive?

Bevelled glass will cost slightly more than normal polished glass, however, it will depend on the size and design of your glass or mirror, as well as for what purpose it will be used for. The type of glass used for a bevelled edge mirror or glass pieces will generally be thicker and higher quality than normal glass or mirrors which can contribute to the price.
